Thanks. I need to start hammering out some posts over there and get into a groove. Then I might ask for your help.

Oh, I understand where you are coming from. When I was doing my redesign, I finally picked up my other, more appropriate blogger domain... it would have been embarassing if someone else had done so and undermined my name. It is going to become my blog archives.

I think I can point you in the direction of a few of your peers so you can develop a community around Used to be Cool as well.

@Chris - Not that I'm trying to "build a brand" or something, but I'd like to do a lot more on that site than just the blog (podcast, forums, etc.). And it's the kind of site that I would like to develop beyond just those who know me personally - which means readers who are less interested in my new closets...

@Kathleen - An IT job. Plus, any long entry that gets posted during the day is typically 90% written at home and simply not posted until I come up with a few more lines at work.

Interesting. Seems like the reverse of what I did (I started with the blog about general/cultural stuff, then later did the "personal" one on LJ). Personally I think you'd do fine to add the music musings to this site since it's a big part of who you are, but that's just one man's opinion.
