Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
I’m amazed at how easily a group like the RIAA or Ticketmaster can make billions by simply being a middle-man. I’m honestly surprised that more musical artists haven’t come together, pooled some resources, and simply done away with the whole structure.
I’m also curious how much of the lawsuit proceeds actually go to the artists whose songs have been illegally downloaded, prompting legal action in the first place. My guess owuld be $0 but that’s because I’m a cynical prick, and this is the RIAA we’re talking about.
