The pictures of the dead Tilapia are certainly compelling.
It constantly amazes me how desolate and unpopulated a good portion of California is. Desert takes up about half of the state. Agriculture is another 1/4. So you’ve got all of the people living in 1/4 of the state (more or less, excluding the poor souls who actually try to live in the desert), and that 1/4 is a (relatively) thin slice of coastal land extending the length of the state. So you can imagine that it gets pretty crowded where people do live.
I thoroughly enjoyed the photoset. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I’ve only seen the Christosaurouses myself, and only as we drove by them at 75 MPH.
