Amazing. Really, it’s just amazing. Having now witnessed the birth of my own daughter I still can’t get over the fact that this process works. Lisa was incredible and pushed through a long labor to produce the most beautiful baby there ever was. Am I bit biased? Perhaps. But judge for yourself – introducing Kayleigh Sarah Slattery:
The full story, and lots more photos, will follow once I am truly back home. In the meantime, thank you for all of the congratulations that have already come in and will continue to come in.

[One more] Congratulations, you two! She’s beautiful! 😀
Hello there, gorgeous little girl! You look an awful lot like I thought you would. (Good thing I imagined you cute, right? ;o) )
Congratulations, Mom and Dad, on your healthy, happy and adorable little Kayleigh’s arrival!
That is one cute daughter you have there 🙂
(This is Mark typing, but not surprisingly Eva shares the sentiment :p )
Congratulations again to you both!
She’s already sticking her tongue out at you! Uh-oh, she might be another one of these loud-mouthed Slattery granddaughters! But, she’ll get away with it b/c she is ADORABLE! I can’t wait to come hold my new niece.
Love you all!!!!
Hey! SHe’s adorable! And you got the 1 in 10,000 newborn baby with the eyes open shot. It’s amazing how much she looks like you two at only day old.
How big was she?
Congrats from the both of us, my friend! Now get to changin’ those diapers!
Aww! Hooray. Mike and I send our congratulations!
Thank you so much for sharing the pic of your beautiful daughter. Paige was jumping up and down when I gave her the news about Kayleigh. She said she can’t wait to see her. She even bought her a present from one girl cousin to another. ENJOY!
Congratulations 10 times over! I always cry when I see a newborn; can’t wait to hear everything about her entrance into the world.
So happy for you….
Cindy and Gene
Wait…. *counts in head*
Did you make her on my wedding day? Because that would be pretty awesome :-).
Being around Mike’s extended family this week, we have been talking about how we’ve been married for just over 9 months (and joking that if we got pregnant on the wedding night that we’d be about due). And then out pops yours. :-).
ConFLATulations!!!! I’m so happy and for you both. I’m so glad you made it through! I’m so proud of you both and excited for you. Enjoy your new baby girl and I can’t wait to meet my new fuzzy cuzzy!!!
Congratulations to the new mommy and daddy! She is so adorable! I love that pic!
Curt and I are overwhelmed. The thought of my little brother being a father is astounding. I am so happy for you and Lisa and can’t wait to get back North to hold Kayleigh. Love you all so much!!!
Thom, could you email me your home address? Thanks.
Hope you are sleeping a little!
Congrats again 🙂 It took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to get your message off my phone – I think it only worked at all because you sent a picture. All plain text messages go off into neverland or something.
That tongue sticking out picture = awesomeness.
Congratulations. 7 lbs and 13 oz? From the last couple frames of the slideshow, I was expecting her to come out at 23 lb or carrying a hockey duffel 🙂
Mazel Tov! Kayleigh Sarah is beautiful! You are sooooo right! Can’t wait to see her next week. Love, Aunt Ronnie
We could not be happier for all of you!
She is absolutely beautiful and we cannot wait to meet her in person.
Sending all our love,
Alissa, George, Samantha and George
